Academy Safety Guidelines
Charlotte Ballet Academy is committed to the health and safety of our dancers and their families. With
respect for CDC guidelines and federal OSHA standards in response to COVID-19, and in consultation with
our peer organizations, we are pleased to present you with the following School Year Safety Guidelines.
Please note: The 2020/2021 School Year and all subsequent in-studio Academy programming is subject to
change based on North Carolina’s mandates for a phased advancement.
To achieve the maximum results of training and proper progression through the syllabus, students are asked to attend all classes and rehearsals to which they are assigned. To minimize absences, parents are urged to take into consideration classes and rehearsals when scheduling their children for appointments and when planning family vacations.
Reach is Charlotte Ballet’s nationally recognized outreach dance scholarship program. Reach is a community outreach need based dance scholarship program which makes quality dance training accessible twice a week, September– April, to students who demonstrate a natural talent for movement and the potential to be trained in dance.
Confidence, drive, focus, and self-discipline…these are the gifts dance gives your child, and at Charlotte Ballet, it’s our passion!
